The objectives laid down from the beginning by the committee are to preserve a homogeneous, multidisciplinary group where user-friendliness and the motivation are the main ideas as well as a simple structure and a group adapted to the size of the country, to be the “Belgian” relay of the A3P while doing better to know the A3P all while emphasizing it with respect to known and existing associations in Belgium.

On the other hand, A3P Belgium wishes to organize discussion meetings, the Forums, together with visits of company, to discuss subjects specific to the drug company with the assistance of professionals on percussion, innovating topics of discussion and of general interest and by integrating into the discussions the national authorities.

Since our creation in February 2004, we organized from the year 2005 2 forums per year.

The topics covered were:

- Aseptic filling: a new concept and validation in Aseptic Technologies

- Single use in pharmaceutical production: challenge for the future at ATMI

- From the cleanliness of the cap to the integrity of the finished product at Helvoet Pharma

- Lyophilization: general principles for the stability of pharmaceuticals in Charleroi

- Aseptic areas: requirements (UE /US): decontamination and particle count at Catalent

- Outsourcing: a partnership - a marriage of convenience to the durable connection at the Simon laboratories - SGS

- Aseptic connectors: sterility assurance at GSK Biologicals

- The quality of raw material to finished product Ophain

Our speakers are usually selected and their presentations are from an excellent technical level and are the subject of many positive comments from participants in our Forums.

In 2009, we will have 2 forums

- On April 22^nd: Visual inspection 
- On November 18^th: The problem of packaging (in process controls / inviolability / anti counterfeiting);
