Charles River’s Endotoxin and Microbial Detection division offers a full range of solutions for your QC testing. A full line of rapid systems, Endosafe®-PTS™ (portable), Endosafe®-MCS™ (multiple) and our new Endosafe®-Nexus™(robot for multi-cartridge system) for reliable and accurate endotoxin test results with FDA licensed LAL cartridges, all in less than 15 minutes.

PTS™ technology is also available for Gram discrimination and glucan detection. This business is supported by Accugenix® services, with an FDA-recognised, cGMP-compliant microbiology service provider laboratory. This laboratory specialises in bacterial and fungal identification and typing of strains from environmental isolates and uses the most advanced methods currently available in this field.

Through our recent partnership, Charles River Endotoxin and Microbial Detection offers the Axcess™ system which combines the accuracy and robustness of Bruker’s MALDI Biotyper technology coupled with the Accugenix® cGMP compliant database and software. This maximises performance for environmental monitoring applications. Backed by a strong network and available and accessible technical support, the Endotoxin and Microbial Detection Division provides a dual expertise to secure your manufacturing processes and rapid product release.

Our European platform has been relocated to a dedicated area with more space in Ecully, France. This new location allows us to meet the growing demand for LAL services and to fully integrate our microbial identification activity.
